Early American Chippendale Walnut Chairs, attributed to the Central Eastern Shore, Norfolk, Virginia region, second half of 18th c., having square molded rail and stiles, slightly splayed at top, pierced urn backsplats, square molded legs connected by 'H' stretchers, currently upholstered in fine needlepoint featuring an exotic bird in a scroll, leaf and blossom frame on a tan field. 17 3/4" seat, 37 1/2" back, 22" x 20". Very good condition, a few small spots on the needlepoint.
