Waist Length Portraits of a Stout Gentleman in powdered wig and his Aristocratic Wife in purple dress with crimson shawl, oil on canvas, resin backed, unsigned, ca. 1780, housed in replica black lacquer frames with gilt liners, OS: 32 1/2" x 27 1/2", SS: 29" x 24". Restored, having later small scuffs and scratches.
