- Lot Description
English Dome Top Form Drop Front Desk, ca. 1900, fully covered in Renaissance style needlepoint, having a fitted oak interior with green felt writing surface, set onto a mahogany stand having twist carved members. The needlepoint features women at a loom on front and British heraldry of Unicorn and Gryphon on top and sides, having brass domed tack edging, black painted iron fittings, including large bail lifts on sides, the drop front is supported by chain. 53" x 35" x 19 1/2" overall, 24" tall trunk (not attached to base).
