Hand Crafted Lidded Storage Box, 20th c., probably Syrian or Turkish, profusely inlaid with mother-of-pearl and tortoiseshell, having a coffered lift top and three drawers below, with an exterior band of inlaid Arabic calligraphy below lid, bracket form base, 12 1/8" high, 23 5/8" x 12". Painted inlay repairs, some missing inlay, chip to one drawer corner.
