Japanese Meiji Period Blue and White Porcelain Punch Bowl, late 19th c., consisting of large ruffled rim bowl and footed base, bowl interior center with hand painted aesthetic design of birds, trees and floral motifs, bowl rims and base with transfer printed vine and geometric design, bowl only: 7 1/2" high, 16" diam., overall (with base): 13 1/2" high. Good condition. Provenance: From the estate of Hugo & Nathalie Weisgall, Rockport, Maine.
