- Lot Description
Cinnabar Lacquered Tea Ceremony Cabinet, circa 1920, having an upper gallery, lift-off cabinet panel door with soapstone and mother-of-pearl inlaid depiction of a basket of fruit, gilt and polychrome detailing, brass flying sparrow drop pull, black interior having a single shelf, shallow lower drawer having a running foo dog at center, set on molded and carved base. The original wooden crate is inscribed with ink. The cabinet is 19 1/4" x 19 1/4" x 12 1/2", the crate is 20 1/2" x 20 1/2" x 13 3/4". Fine condition.
