- Lot Description
Mahogany Hepplewhite Chairs having rectangular backs, raised, carved and molded crests and molded stiles, with finely carved racket back panels. Later gold brocade self-corded upholstered seats with bowed serpentine fronts, set on square tapered legs tied by 'H' stretchers. Attributed to the Haines Connolly School, fourth quarter 18th c., 17" seat, 35 1/2". Single stain to fabric.
