Early Federal Period Gilt Framed Mirror made in France to commemorate American Independence, featuring a crest with an American Eagle surmounting an oval shield, having thirteen stars around a sheaf of wheat, in a bracket of open scrollwork, with swags and leaf pendants at bottom, late 18th c., 38" x 18 1/2". Very good condition.
