- Lot Description
Portrait of Mother with Begging Dog, Parakeet, Flower Vase and Drapery, by Sarah W. Custer, dated 1848. Sarah was from Amityville, Berks County, Penn., born in 1832 to Michael L. Custer and Sarah High, she married John B. Wentzel, had sons George and Evan. In later gold molded frame, under glass, OS: 23" x 23", SS: 19" x 19". A few small moth holes, color faded.
