Washington Equestrian Statue in Union Park Square, New York, Winter, circa 1860s, crowded with figures at night, under gaslight, oil on canvas, unsigned, in modern gold molded frame, OS: 31 1/2" x 39 1/2", SS: 26 1/2" x 34 1/2". Cleaned and relined, repaired tears, fine overall craquelure.
