19th c. 14K Yellow Gold and Enamel Society of the Colonial Dames of America - Massachusetts Badge, with blue and gold silk ribbon, on back marked with the motto 'Virtutes Majorum Filiae Conservant' (daughters conserve the virtues of their elders) and engraved 'Alice Preble Anderson, No. 18, 1896'; 2 3/4" long, 1 3/4" wide, 9.2 dwt tw., in leather box. Small area of enamel loss to upper right edge of central panel.
