Landscape with River and Cliff, oil on canvas, signed lower left, housed in what may be the original gilt Romanesque plaster frame, OS: 36" x 30", SS: 26" x 20". Cleaned, repaired tear lower center, several repaired punctures in sky and trees on right, corner damage to frame. Includes copy of letter of authentication from Jean-Jacques Fernier, Vice-President de l'Istitut Courbet, Conservateur du Patrimoine, Ornans, France.
