Patinated Metal Bowl, with central bas relief depiction of Hercules as a child, battling (and killing) two snakes sent by the Goddess Hera to kill him; an iron alloy Grand Tour era replica of a 1st c. BCE - 1st c. silver bowl (part of the Hildesheim treasure) that was unearthed in Germany in 1868 and currently is in the Altes Museum in Berlin; 1 3/4" high, 7 7/8" diam. Minor surface rust.
