Greeting the Victorious Troops, oil on linen, unsigned, depicting a crowd bearing wreaths, festival caps and gifts up the ramp to a small garrison of soldiers in front of a fortress, on what appears to be the original stretcher branded "Mario", in later gilt cove frame, OS: 20" x 28", SS: 15 1/4" x 23 1/4". Very good condition, cleaned, not relined.
