- Lot Description
18th c. Paint Decorated Softwood Armoire (in the Silesian manner) with large flat molded cornice, single door having iron strap hinges and decorative lockplate, the decoration consisting of floral panels with buff backgrounds, on a squared grain background, inscribed above the door "Gottfried Heinrich in Heilbronn, 1795". (On record as Oberamtsdiener Wachter). 69 1/2" x 53 1/2" x 22". Good condition, replaced cornice. Door locked, no key.
