- Lot Description
Ornate and Delicate Giltwood Mantel Mirror, of the period, featuring a pair of Hoo-ho Birds at top corners standing on icicle ledges, flanking a circular open crest, supported by two angular Corinthian columns, the central looking glass surrounded by fifteen symmetrical lights in complicated scroll and leaf interlocking frames, 54" x 44". Multiple old repairs, some glass replaced, but still a remarkable survivor.
