- Lot Description
"A Journey into The Journey", an artist's photo-essay on Eugene O'Neill's most autobiographical play "Long Day's Journey into Night", done as part of a Thesis at the University of Pennsylvania School of Art in 1969. Dugan is now a Professor in the SUNY/Binghamton Art Department, New York. Consists of a handmade folio containing twelve mounts of manipulated photographic images in gold mats, some with multiple images, a title block with photo and one photo with folding cover. 14" x 11" mounts. The photos are in good condition, the mounts have fingerprints, the folio is worn. Also includes six proof contact sheets of the photos as they were before manipulation.
