- Lot Description
19th c. 18K Yellow Gold Open Face Pocket Watch, with gold engraved dial with multicolored gold embellishment, floral and leaf design, with gold hands, case has heavy scroll and leaf design with engine turned back cover, 48mm frame size, key wind, key set movement, with beautifully engraved interior cover depicting a seated French soldier and reads 'Echappement, Duplex levee, Rouleau huit trous garnis en rubis fin'. Serial # 34120. Appears to be running, stored in a safety deposit box for many years, very minor dents to back cover. Crystal fits loosely in bezel.
