- Lot Description
19th c. French Mantel Clock, time and strike movement with pendulum and key, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, marked 'Lefebvre, 19 Avenue de Clichy', ebonized wood case with ormolu mounts, twist columns and fancy applied decoration, set on scroll form feet, movement stamped with Vincenti et Cie Medaille D'Argent 1855 mark, '3171' and 'Eserin, Brevete', 20 1/8" high, 9 3/4" x 5 1/2". Dial chips and hairlines, minor bends/losses to mounts, not observed running.
