- Lot Description
19th c. French Provincial Carved Walnut Petrin, shaped molded edge overhanging top with breadboard ends, above canted sides with exposed dovetailed construction, front panel with carved floral motifs, atop a frieze with carved flowers, bow and two hearts to the front, set on turned legs with shaped stretchers, floral carved front stretcher and scroll form feet, 38 1/4" high, 49 3/4" x 23". Top surface stains, burns, scratches and shrinkage crack, worm damage, shrinkage crack to front panel, foot abrasions.
