Pastoral Scene with Sheep and Chickens under Two Trees, Distant Windmills, en grisaille charcoal and chalk on tan paper, signed lower left and dated 1869, in ogee mahogany frame, matted and glazed, OS: 23 3/4" x 21 1/2", SS: 14 1/2" x 12 1/2". Drawing is in good condition, loss to veneer on frame. Provenance: From the estate of Hugo & Nathalie Weisgall, Rockport, Maine.
