- Lot Description
19th c. Storage Trunk Inlaid with Exotic Woods, in the Moorish manner, having a central oval cartouche of a dove on a branch bearing the motto "Amor Fiel" (Faithful Love), chamfered edges, three ranks of borders, two of ivy in alternating light on dark and dark on light, the interior in red lacquer. 14 1/2" x 32 3/4" x 18". Some losses, especially front corner of lid, shrinkage cracks and bowing to top panel.
