The Sanborn Viso-Cardiette, model 51, a portable electrocardiograph, (a machine that creates a 'print-out' of a heartbeat), made by a company that was founded by Frank Sanborn in 1917 and was bought out by Hewlett-Packard in 1961. This is s/n 6243, in a mahogany case, early 1930s. Metal face has bakelite knobs and covers. 11 1/2" x 15" x 8 1/2". Good condition, lacks cables.
