Late 18th - Early 19th c. Carved Fanteuil Chair, of generous proportions with parcel gilt and polychrome decorated surfaces, with slip seat, backrest and arms with 18th c. tapestry fragments, velvet back panel, 42" high, 30" x 26 1/2", 18 1/2" high seat. Surface wear and gilding losses, worn tapestry fabric, tear in back panel velvet.
