- Lot Description
17th c. Oak Blanket Chest, probably Northern European, front with intricately carved floral decoration, paneled sides, with iron side handles, lock (no key) and strap hinges (replacements of original snipe hinges), paneled sides, 25 1/4" high, 52" x 23". Dry and worn surface, repair to front left corner, iron strap reinforcement to back right corner, replaced lock.
