- Lot Description
French Empire Roman Revival Furniture Mount in cast bronze with scumbled gold and black lacquer treatment, circa 1810, in slightly concave half cylinder form having a short flat side, the remainder displaying a finely rendered bas relief of Putti on Parade, with palm tree to left, chariot drawn by lion, reclining figure accompanied by musician, two putti on back of bull (one with theatrical mask), preceded by a Satyr who is raising a chalice with the second putti. 5" x 6 1/2" x 3 3/4". Fine condition.
