- Lot Description
The Thames, Westminster Bridge and the Cathedral, oil on canvas, signed on the stern of the boat lower left, dated 1803, (note the gibbet above, still there to this day!), in the original carved and reticulated gilt frame with name tag, OS: 21" x 28", SS: 16 1/2" x 23 1/2". Cleaned and relined, on the original stretcher, minor frame loss.
