- Lot Description
Chippendale Cherry New England Desk, having exposed dovetail case, a slanted hinged front, concealing an eight-drawer fan carved interior over nine valanced letter slots, the case with four long graduated drawers, scribed edges, original post and bail hardware. The molded bracket base having a fan carved center drop, set on high bold bracket carved feet. Second half 18th c., 32 1/2" to working surface, 44 1/2" x 38" x 21". Good condition, some discoloration to end panels, top of writing lid, replaced 2" strip.
