Early 19th c. Boston Flame Figured Mahogany Card Table, with a rectangular swivel top and hinged leaf, nicely carved and shaped frieze, set on a square tapered paneled and leaf carved pedestal with intricate shaped and molded plinth ending in highly developed scroll carved feet, with an early label of Ebenezer Knowlton, 30" high, 35 1/4" x 18 1/2". Shrinkage cracks and wear to top surfaces. Provenance: Harrington Family of Worcester, MA (late of Cliff Estates, Wellesley, MA). Information on label in swivel drawer states the date of December 16, 1802 and marriage to Margaret Bass.
