- Lot Description
20th c. Quality Bench Made Copy of a Chinese Chippendale Two-Seat Mahogany Settee, having classic double yoke and splat back combining the features of two chairs side-by-side, beautifully detailed and carved with leaf and blossom piercework, strong scrolled arms and delicately gadrooned lower frame, resting on slender cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet. The slip seat is upholstered in an appropriate buff brocade (with intact pink rose brocade underneath). 18" seat, 28" arms, 40 1/2" back, 45" x 22 1/2". Very good condition.
