- Lot Description
Qing Dynasty Hongmu (rosewood) Incense Stand with detailed pierced relief carving of various auspicious symbols, such as the bats of happiness, coins of abundance and celestial dragons. The four cabriole legs are secured by elegant curvilinear cross brackets and finish in dragon's claw feet. The eight sided rouge marble inset rests on an eight sided waist with pierced lotus cartouche. Ca. 1860. 35" tall, 24" diam.
