Late Kangxhi (1662-1722) Flat-Bottomed Mallet Form, in pale blue, with decoration of a Phoenix confronting a Writhing Dragon among flowering branches and fortuitous symbols, the shallow foot with six character underglaze blue mark, 7 3/4" x 4". Glaze inclusion at neck. Provenance: From the estate of Hugo & Nathalie Weisgall, Rockport, Maine.
