- Lot Description
Temple Exterior Fragment in Grey Schist, 17th c. or earlier, carved in deep bas relief, a scholar and two students among trees on one side and a demon between columns of smoke on the other, the edges broken away, set into a custom hardwood stand, roughly 14" x 16" x 6 1/2" overall, including stand. Very heavy. Nice age patina, the face of the kneeling student is gone.
