- Lot Description
19th c. Large Chinese Lidded Pot, intricately painted decoration depicting a confrontation of dragon and phoenix over a flaming pearl, the sea below, also decorated with clan marks to the lid and body (possibly signifying a marriage), with underglaze blue painted apocryphal six character Qianlong mark on base, 13" high, 12" diam. Hairline crack inside base.
