- Lot Description
Platinum and Diamond Brooch, circa 1925, signed 'CARTIER no. 3515335, a shaped plaque featuring an old European cut diamond weighing approx. 1.15 cts and set throughout with (26) French-cut diamonds and (130) old European, old mine and single cut diamonds for an approx. total weight of 15.0 cts. In our opinion the diamonds appear to be F color, VVS clarity, 14K white gold pinstem, 12.70 dwt, 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". Center stone has two minor nicks to girdle and a .002 x .004 mm chip to upper girdle facet, pinstem possibly replaced.
