A Rare German Walnut Jardiniere, circa 1880s, with highly detailed carving, the oval footed willow basket form top festooned with bunches of grapes, fruit and a pair of love birds, resting on a trunk form pedestal featuring two foxes chasing each other around the fern and root covered oval domed base, 37" x 31" x 13". Minor losses, alligatored varnish, interior stains.
