19th c. Sevres Style Bronze Mounted Porcelain Lidded Urn, marked VF Limoges, with delicate hand painted courting couple and landscape decoration to body signed 'G. Poitevin', red and raised gilded floral and swirl motifs to lid, neck and pedestal, gilded ormolu leaf form side handles and cut corner square base, iron weighted base, underside of pedestal with underglaze green round 'Limoges, VF, France' stamp, 30 1/2" high, 14" x 10 1/2". Gilding losses, professionally repaired lid.
