Early 20th c. American Encaustic Tile Co. (Zanesville, OH, 1875-1935) Terra Cotta Relief Tile decorated with the portrait of a medieval priest, crafted using the squeeze bag technique, with the impressed AETCo mark on back, in an iron hanging sleeve, tile: 14 1/4" x 9 7/8" x 5/8", sleeve: 15 3/4" x 10 1/4". Minor edge flakes, small chip to backside near upper right corner.
