- Lot Description
Arts & Crafts Period Renaissance Revival Desk in light walnut stained oak, with a green leather top having gilt tooled edge, the wooden frame to the top with a quarter round chip carved foliate design, the case heavily carved with beaded edge openings for the center drawer flanked by two drawer banks, carved with a fox's head handle at center and scrollwork, the outside drawers carved with shields. The cabinet has full decoration and finish on all sides, and rests on vase turned and barley twist legs, resting on rosette block and bun feet, heavy turned side stretchers and twisted center stretcher. The top outside drawers have locks with ornate brass keys, the upper right hand drawer contains a partitioned tray and sliding cover. 29 1/2" x 50 1/2" x 28 1/2". Good condition.
