- Lot Description
Carved Wood and Polychrome Painted Carousel Horse attributed to Charles Carmel of Prospect Park, New York. Coney Island style outer row "Stargazer", hollow body, right front leg raised, real horsehair, late 19th to early 20th c., in what may be the original paint. 61 1/2" high, 12" wide, 60" long. Minor paint loss, shrinkage crack to one back leg.
