- Lot Description
Rare Antique Hand Hammered Sterling Silver Arts & Crafts Amphora Vase, with double handles, marked under base Marcus & Co. New York and Sterling 283, with plaque on one side of an open book with a snake circle, the other side with 1917 presentation. 12" tall, 40.5 ozt. Good condition, base drilled for lamp. This vase was a wedding gift to Wilbur Fisk McLean (1890-1974) and Marjorie Morrow on July 20, 1917 with the names of the wedding party engraved in two columns.
