- Lot Description
Late 19th c. Full Body Copper Eagle Atop Sphere and Arrow, attributed to J.W. Fiske & Company (New York City, active 1870-93), with iron arrow head, surface with original verdigris patina and gold leaf beneath wings, mounted on a custom metal stand above directionals and ball, eagle & arrow weathervane only: 20" high, 27" W x 30" D, overall height on stand: 43 1/2" High. Weathered surface. Reference: J.W. Fiske Catalog, 1893, picture #54 for like example.
