Superbly Executed Bird's Eye View of a Large Farm, oil on canvas, unsigned, ca. 1880, probably Berks County, Pennsylvania, with a magnificent red painted barn with an extended overshot, three cupolas on the roof and a classic white painted 'hexagram' symbol at the top of the gable, depicting a Dutch style stone house with 6 chimneys to right, fenced drive and yard, cow herd and pigs with watering pond in foreground, distant mountain range. In faux cross-grained shallow ogee frame, OS: 32 1/2" x 45 1/2", SS: 26 1/2" x 39 1/2". Fine craquelure, minor retouching.
