Chickens in a Barnyard, oil on panel, signed lower right, depicting a flock of chickens feeding around a haystack, reverse panel with painted note in French script from the artist declaring this work was painted for Mr. A.D. Huyvetter of Antwerp in 1887, in a gilded gessoed wooden frame, OS: 20 1/2" x 26 1/4", SS: 10 1/2" x 16 1/2". Gilding and gesso losses.
