Cast, stamped and engraved Brass Tafadis or Sugar Hammer of the Tuareg Tribe, 5" handle with 4" head. Warm buttery patina. The Tuareg people are a large Berber ethnic confederation that inhabit the Sahara desert, in a vast area stretching from far southwestern Libya to southern Algeria, Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso.
