Circa 1875 Walnut Cabinet Desk having a spindled gallery with cannonball finials, peaked ends with conical stops; the two doors over two shelves and five cubbies having inset aqua Minton tiles depicting scenes from "Troilus & Cressida" and "Romeo & Juliet", the upper cabinet, with fancy brass binding, is raised on matching spindles above ring pull fold-out red felt writing surface, single shallow drawer below, resting on two setback shelves tied by columns, the entirety resting on protruding raked square framed legs, 30 1/2" to writing surface, 62" x 27" x 19 1/2" overall.
