Collection of (7) Designer Handbags by Enid Collins (Collins of Texas, 1959-1970), all with hand painted and jeweled decoration, leather trim, including: (2) canvas sided bags with wooden bottoms and original tags- Sea Garden, multicolored seahorse, fish and floral motifs, 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 4 1/8", minor stains; and Jewel Bouquet, with exuberant colorful floral and bow decoration, 10 1/2" x 12 1/2" x 4 1/8, good condition; and (5) bags with wooden box construction, plastic handles and mirror inside lid - "Pavan III", featuring bird and swirl decoration and amber colored jewels, signed and dated 1966, 8 5/8" x 11 1/8" x 2 3/4", corner wear; "Roadrunner", with gold and tan bird and star decoration, amber and clear jewels, signed and dated 1965, 6 1/2" x 11 3/4" x 2 7/8", surface scratches and corner wear; "Love", tan and white painted floral and letter decoration, white, amber and green jewels, signed, 6 5/8" x 8 5/8" x 2 3/4", corner wear, two missing lid flower decorations; "Jewel Drops", black painted floral decoration and multicolor jewels, signed on base, monogram 'EBN' to back, 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 4 1/4", corner wear, a few nicks to back and one tiny nick to lid front; and Tres Flores, black, amber and ivory-colored floral decoration, 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 2", corner wear, surface scratches, gilding loss to hardware.
