Collection of (6) Pieces of Sunderland Pink Lustre Transfer Decorated Pottery with nautical motifs, most ca. 1810-30, including: Punch Bowl, with 'The Sailor's Farewell', 'Jack's Return', and verses on the exterior, and a view of the Iron Bridge, a ship, and verses on the exterior, 4 1/4" high, 10" diam., scratch to exterior; Large Jug, with a view of the Iron Bridge at Sunderland, and nautical verses, 7 1/4" high, 9 1/2" x 7", base rim chips, rim and handle glaze flake; Jug, with ship verse on one side, and 'The Shepherdess' on the other, 4 1/2" high, 6 1/2" x 5", two top rim flakes; Butter Tub, with ship decoration and verse, 4 1/4" high, 5 1/4" x 4 1/2", top rim chip, lid rim chips, lid edge repair, and lid hairline crack; Ca. 1870 Plaque entitled "The Gauntlet Clipper Ship", impress marked 'Dixon Co.', 8 1/2" x 7 1/2", upper right corner chip, lower left corner repair, hairline crack upper left; and Ca. 1860 Plaque entitled 'The Sailor's Farewell', with molded corners and verse, 9" x 8", repaired break upper left corner.
