- Lot Description
Group of (5) Early-Mid 20th c. German Stoneware Steins by Marzi & Remy (Hohr, Hesse-Nassau, Prussia), with 1879-1964 trapezoidal impressed mark and 'Made in Germany', all with pewter lids, with raised decoration depicting hunting and tavern scenes in blue, including: Master stein, #3210, 19 1/2" high; and (4) 8 3/4" high steins, #2349, #2029, #202-7, and #2350, two with original pewter quality-mark labels, and one with partial label. One small stein with dented lid finial, otherwise very good condition with no cracks, chips or damage.
