Including: General Anthony McAuliffe (1898-1975), 101st Airborne Commander famous for his 22 Dec 1944 Battle of Bastogne response "Nuts!" to a German surrender demand, note dated Dec 24, 1974, stick frame, matted and glazed, OS: 12 1/2" x 11"; PLUS Generals Maxwell Davenport Taylor (1901-1987), Commander of the 101st Airborne and James Maurice Gavin (1907-1990), Commander of the 82nd Airborne, together in one image, facing each other in combat dress, inscribed to William Bushwick, in same frame, OS: 11 3/4" x 13 1/4"; PLUS Unframed Copy of Truman's Victory Message as published by the Headquarters 15th Army Group, signed by General Mark Wayne Clark (1896-1984), Army Commander, 8 1/2" x 11". All in good condition.
